SKELETAL SYSTEM

The skeletal system is made up of the body's bones (the skeleton), muscles, cartilage, tendons, ligaments, joints, and tissues that support and bind organs together. Its primary functions include supporting the body, allowing motion, production of blood cells, and protecting vital organs. The disorders of the skeletal system can include weak bones, weak ligaments, and problems with your joints. This can be caused by a number of factors including nutrient-deficient diet, lack of exercise, and other poor lifestyle choices.
